Phase 1: Plain sentence.

I started out with a 3'x2' piece of plywood. Beautiful day outside; about 65 degrees Fahrenheit. While my dogs lay in the grass and enjoy the sunny day, I set everything up to start my journey. Tools are ready, plywood is ready, camera ready and of course some music to accompany me.

First, I sprayed a white base over the board. Then, using a 2" brush I covered it with some yellow beige paint that I found in my garage. After like half an hour, the paint seemed to be dry so I began to write "I have a painting" with the help of a 1" foam brush and a neon green paint that I bought from one of those craft stores. Nothing fancy or technical about the writing, just a few letters put together to reflect a meaning. The painting is pretty plain...right now.

PS. I had recorded the entire process but somehow when I transfered the videos from my camera to my computer the file was corrupted :( oh well! next time!

What a magnificent day!
