Yes, I have a painting, well more like a piece of plywood with paint on it. I will be adding something new to this "painting" every week. Ideas are more than welcome!! Let me know if there is something you would like to see on this art work and you might see it on the following week. Help me make this a true painting! :)

Phase 2: let the journey begin..
A sun, a shoe and a vase. Each with its own personal meaning, finally give a bit of life to the painting.

Phase 1: Plain sentence.
I started out with a 3'x2' piece of plywood. Beautiful day outside; about 65 degrees Fahrenheit. While my dogs lay in the grass and enjoy the sunny day, I set everything up to start my journey. Tools are ready, plywood is ready, camera ready and of course some music to accompany me.
First, I sprayed a white base over the board. Then, using a 2" brush I covered it with some yellow beige paint that I found in my garage. After like half an hour, the paint seemed to be dry so I began to write "I have a painting" with the help of a 1" foam brush and a neon green paint that I bought from one of those craft stores. Nothing fancy or technical about the writing, just a few letters put together to reflect a meaning. The painting is pretty plain...right now.
PS. I had recorded the entire process but somehow when I transfered the videos from my camera to my computer the file was corrupted :( oh well! next time!
